Results:
There are four findings, 1) the characteristics of college students' consciousness of ecological civilization are the highest in identity, second in knowledge and third in practice. 2) The channels for college students to acquire the knowledge of ecological civilization and practice of environmental protection are more modernized and diversified. 3) College students’ consciousness of ecological civilization has a strong characteristic of "government dependence". 4) In the process of green consumption, the initiative of environmental protection is poor, and ecological civilization awareness and ecological civilization behavior need to be strengthened.
Lessons learned:
It can be concluded that the ecological civilization consciousness of college students needs to be improved in four aspects. First, the universities have not formed a good campus reference norms. Second, college students ' perception of their roles and self-concept is not enough. Third, college students do not have good behavior habits, especially in green consumption. Finally, there are still deficiencies in the convenient conditions for the implementation of ecological civilization behavior. The improvement of these deficiencies requires the joint efforts of individuals, governments, families, educational organizations and social organizations.
