1. Vision of your RCE: 
Promote sustainability, solidarity and participation in our region. For this propose CREIAS-Oeste launches and supports ESD-activities and SD-oriented projects. It brings together stakeholders from different sectors and disseminates SD-relevant information and knowledge.

7. Participation of actors : 
We follow a bottom-up approach. That means, only projects initiated and developed by one of our partners is a RCE-project. The group/person who initiates the project is responsible for its coordination and implementation, but he/she is supported by the Steering Committee of CREIAS-Oeste, that disseminates the information to all other partners and promotes networking.

In spite of huge efforts developed in the last years, the participation of teachers/schools is weak. Informal education has been a main field of our educational activity.

Several research institutions are involved with our RCE. They normally should take the initiative to propose R&D activities for the RCE.
