1. Vision of your RCE: 
The members of the Healthy Community Cabinet for the City of Greater Sudbury believe a healthy community is one which embraces a broad vision of health through intentional and balanced economic, environmental and social development. The Cabinet believes that when the values of the healthy community are shared, that the overall public health and sustainability of Greater Sudbury will be enhanced.

9. Educational activities : 
Public education and awareness are very important in our overall vision. RCE Greater Sudbury has currently embarked on a social marketing campaign to raise the level of awareness within the City of Greater Sudbury.

The Research and Evaluation sub committee have established baseline indicators to monitor the progress of the eleven identified healthy community challenges within Greater Sudbury RCE.

We have a sub committee established from Healthy Community Cabinet member organizations. The sub committee has been engaged to guide and support the development, implementation and evaluation of the HC/RCE practices with ongoing surveillance and best practices research.
