RCE Dublin and RCE Oldenburger Münsterland meet at UNESCO conference

The conference "Bridging Education and Science for Sustainable Development" held in Daugavpils, Latvia on 2-3 December 2015, was organized by the Latvian National Commission for UNESCO in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair at the Daugavpils University, Ilga Salite and the National Centre for Education.

[Good Practice case]Day for Sustainable Society@Chungryeol Girl's High School, Tongyeong

 

This is a short project report written and translated to English by students at Chungryeol Girl’s High School in Tongyeong, Korea. During her sociology class, teacher Ms. Hong Dosoon led students to think about sustainable development issues and find ways to make a small difference during their everyday school life. This short summary depicts some of the projects the girls have initiated in class, currently still in action.

We are writing to invite you to complete the template attached which seeks to collect information on RCE school projects and initiatives carried out for the past 5 years. 

 

Exploring the Synergy between Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and the Delivery of Quality Education in Finland

This report describes ESD and Quality Education in Finland. The main aim was to establish a common understanding of the study subject, thereby creating an interpretation frame of quality education and ESD based on structure – process- outcomes –orientation and quality education literature in Finland. After analyzing the data (answers to study questions) by this frame, the results of this study are presented in this report.
