2. Project Description: 
Project aims at investigating the inclusion/infusion of sustainability issues in the teaching of Geography at senior secondary schools in Swaziland. This is an attempt to find out if teachers of Geography are involved in education for sustainable development infulfilment of the requirements of the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD).

Data collection through observation of lessons and artefacts in the schools, as well as enquiring on teacher qualifications and experiences.

Teachers will be told what is meant by the terms sustainability, sustainable development and education for sustainable development. Learners will also be briefed on what to expect from teachers who are teaching geography for sustainable development. Teachers will then be observed and the responses of the learners also noted.
