10. Project results :
Few campaigns were conducted in shopping malls and schools to increase the sensitivity of the citizens and students towards sustainablity related activities such as recycling. Recycle bins have been granted to several schools and some teachers and students in each school are trained to conduct and run the recycling and composting projects in their schools.

The project encourages university management to change campus waste management policy and practices.

Schools and shopping malls are invited to run their own recycling and composting programs. RCE Penang and CGSS have provided them with the basic infrastructures and training to start the project.
