They are sensitive to their environment and display a good balance and integration of the social, economic, and environmental components of their community.

RCE Kuching community is treating the Covid-19 pandemic as a learning experience - learning from challenges, disruption, climate insecurity, rapid technological change, and failures. The pandemic also reminds us of the skills needed in this unpredictable world such as informed decision-making, creative problem solving, and adaptability. Meetings virtually and having virtual thematic activities, our knowledge is enriched, especially on sustainability and having a sustainable community, hence our work and study space can be done anywhere and anytime so as to promote a safe and clean environment. Thus, we can find deeper meaning in life, enhance skills, embrace new learning opportunities, create and exchange ideas, impart knowledge, and build a global sphere of networking through our virtual events. To provide a learning continuity plan for a resilient education system. RCE Kuching working group 4 with its core focus on supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11: Sustainable cities and communities by 2030, took the initiative to support the Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) objective, so as to educate the communities and public on Sustainable Goal by innovatively creating a one-stop platform and at a fingertip click named, “Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Kuching Thematic Virtual Exhibition”, aims to raise knowledge, awareness, and action on the key related SDGs through Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as the main framework in its educational programs, research development, and outreach and engagement efforts. Especially, to empower youth as the future generation to advocate sustainable objectives.
