RCE Graz-Styria
Overview
The RCE Graz-Styria is the Center for Sustainable Social Transformation at the Faculty of Environmental, Regional and Educational Sciences of the University of Graz. Being located in the second biggest city of Austria, our projects cover local, regional, national and international issues, especially regarding EU projects. Most of our projects follow a transdisciplinary approach involving several partners to bring university and society closer together. Our interdisciplinary team consists of experts on human geography, political science, sociology, economics, ecology and architecture. The RCE Graz-Styria covers the following topics: social ecological transformation, sustainable housing, sustainable mobility, alternative economies, digitization and space.
The mission of the RCE Graz-Styria is to promote sustainable development by research, training and mutual knowledge creation between science and society.
