Trang City is a city of architectural and cultural tourism. There are unique local people’s landmarks: Clock Tower, Shino-Protugeese Buildings, parks, Dugong Roundabout, and Trang dining culture which has been called "Trang, the city of the eater." There are also traditions: Vegetarian, Chinese New Year, and Chak Phra tradition. Besides, it is well-known for grilled pork, cakes, Under ocean wedding ceremony, new Year Festival, etc.
Description of sustainable development challenge(s) in the area the project addresses:
Beautiful check-in point, the Landmark of Trang, Clock Tower is the beginning of night life. It is located in the middle of the city. It is popular site for tourists to take photos. The New Year's Eve celebration is held on the night of December 31st every year there, like a symbol indicating the location of the new year. Everyone has the same goal to count down to a new era. Traditionally, it has been fallen from generation to generation for a long time by Thup Thiang people. This is a way to promote tourism and local people have more income. In addition, it is also an opportunity for young people to show their styles in the right way by participation of government and private organizations. All of these can attract tourists come to trang again and lead to sustainable development.

Rationale:
Trang Municipality aims to present the unique of Trang province to people around the world in order to be public relation to the tourists who love Eco-tourism: local lifestyle and source of information. This promotes everyone to visit and touch the real place and landmarks. The Clock Tower located in the middle of the city is called ‘Hor Lang Tai’ If you visit Trang, appoint at Thup Thiang. The new comers always know that the provincial landmark is the Clock Tower that is beautifully out-standing. Almost everyone says, ‘Jer Gun Tee Hor Nah Kah” (Meet at the Clock Tower). The Clock Tower is the place where New Year Celebration is held on every 31 December. It becomes the tradition from generation to generation. It is an important landmark to increase economic potential, tourism in Trang, and income for local people sustainably.

To present the unique landmark of Trang, to promote tourism, to increase income for Trang local people.

Results:
Everyone who visits the landmark “Clock Tower” is happy and enjoys nightlife, music, dining out with local cuisine, and beautiful accommodation. It increases economic of Trang globally.
Lessons learned:
Trang Clock Tower is a tourism attraction that people around the world can reach the source of information from government sections, websites, and webpages. It is data for making a decision to take a tour and call tourists to visit again.
