The 10th Americas RCE Regional Meeting will be held virtually (online), from 5-7 October, 2021 (rescheduled)hosted by RCE Salisbury under the theme 'Creating an Ongoing Learning Space for Sustainable Development in the Americas.'

This meeting will provide a regional platform to discuss and review the governance issues for the region via the RCEs of the Americas Steering Committee, as well as share and collaborate on activities that reinforce the role that education plays in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals within the Americas. To meet this objective, the following task forces have been designed to share information and coordinate RCE activities within the region:
  • People – SDGs 1, 5, 10, 16
  • Planet – SDGs 6, 13, 14, 15
  • Education and Well Being – SDGs 2, 3, 4
  • Sustainable Cities and Prosperity – SDGs 7, 8, 9, 11, 12
RCEs are welcome to submit RCE projects on ESD their RCE has worked on over the last year to any of these four task force sessions.
ESD Project Presentations
Participants from RCEs in the Americas are encouraged to share RCE projects they have been working on and apply to present these RCE projects under any of the four task force themes for the meeting. To apply, please indicate which task force you would like to present under in your Registration Form, and submit your presentations by 21 September, 2021 to contact Dr. Brittany Foutz, RCE Co-Director, at blfoutz@salisbury.edu. Also, make sure to submit your RCE Project report via the RCE Portal: Create RCE Project by 21 September, 2021, 11:59 pm EDT (please see the instructions below). Speakers will be asked to prepare a Microsoft, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Prezi presentation, once the RCE project is accepted.
While RCEs can submit as many RCE Project Reports as they would like to report via the RCE Portal, please limit the number of applications for RCE Project Presentations for the 10th Americas Regional RCE Meeting to a maximum of two per RCE to allow for time for all RCEs to speak.
