The 10th Americas RCE Regional Meeting was held online, from 5-7 October, 2021 (rescheduled), hosted by RCE Salisbury under the theme 'Creating an Ongoing Learning Space for Sustainable Development in the Americas.'
This meeting provided a regional platform to discuss and review the governance issues for the region via the RCEs of the Americas Steering Committee, as well as share and collaborate on activities that reinforce the role that education plays in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals within the Americas. To meet this objective, the following task forces were designed to share information and coordinate RCE activities within the region:
- People – SDGs 1, 5, 10, 16
- Planet – SDGs 6, 13, 14, 15
- Education and Well Being – SDGs 2, 3, 4
- Sustainable Cities and Prosperity – SDGs 7, 8, 9, 11, 12
