Third African RCE Continental Meeting in August 2013?

Dear Colleagues,

The first and second African RCE Continental Meetings were hotsed by RCE Makana in collaboration with the Southern African Development Community Regional Environmental Education Programme (SADC-REEP) in 2011 and 2012 respectively. We are looking for an RCE to volunteer to host this year's Continental Meeting.

Dear Colleagues, I do not know if there are other RCEs out there that are having sustainability problems. I know there are some like RCE Minna that have demonstrated much stamina but there are still some of us out here who are struggling to stay afloat. I am proposing that time be taken to look at how best to assist some of us get on our feet. Would it be welcomed to discourse an unofficial minimum support for starting RCEs? I am also not very clear on what the future of RCEs and ESD would look like after 2014. Finally, I really do think communication and collaboration among African RCEs should be praticalised and strengthened, Masango.
