Assessing the annual reporting procedure - feedback welcome

Dear RCE friends,

I guess most of you have come across the call for annual reporting by the RCE service centre. IN the past years we have moved from "analog" reporting, sending in PDFs with project information, to the present mode with the opportunity for online reporting in an online platform. This has started with annual reports of 2010. As in the past years availability of the online platform was interrupted from time to time or RCEs have had bad internet connection; this year the opprtunity was given to fill in the forms in a word document. Datas are then beeing integrated in the online platform so all the information can be shared. So this was about the mode of annual reporting.

Content wise, the annual reports are alligned with with Graz Model for Integrative Development (GMID) that allows to benchmark activities between RCEs, to share experiences on participative practices.

To further improve the annual reporting it would be great if we could launch a discussion here in advance of the conference to:

talk about the mode of reporting (online via the portal)
did you use the word forms or direct online reporting?
what did you like/did not like about the word forms or direct online reporting?
do you use the opprtunity to screen also the activities of other RCEs?
discuss the content of the questionnairs
what questions did you miss?
have there been questions that were hard/not to understand?
We would very much welcome a fruitful discussion in this forum so we can further imporve the modes and contents of annual reporting. Reporting contributes to

build capacity for sustainable development
the analysis of the global RCE movement
improvement of global service and development activities
learning from each other to improve practices, gain ideas of actions or find partners for regional/international projects
