The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) invites schools to participate in the GREEN Olympiad 2023. The examination serves a dual purpose of testing the environment quotient of students and enhancing their understanding about issues related to sustainable development. GREEN Olympiad is open for students of Std. 4 to 12, and is divided into four levels (Level 1: Std. 4-5; Level 2: Std. 6-8; Level 3: Std. 9-10; and Level 4: Std. 11-12). The questions revolve around thematic issues including those related to Environment, Sustainable Development and Green skills.  

In 2023, GREEN Olympiad will be held offline on 1 September 2023 and 12 October 2023. Schools have an option to choose one of the dates for conducting the examination.
