In an effort to expand curriculum training and awareness of global sustainability efforts, the Sustainability Curriculum Consortium has hosted a series of webinars and on-line discussions. RCE Greater Portland Director Kim Smith presented the first webinar in their pilot series, on April 13, with an overview of the history of ESD, Agenda 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Action Programme on ESD, and the role higher education can play in helping achieve ESD initiatives.
