5. Project description
Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

We hosted a partner party at the Northwest Earth Institute, providing time for networking, refreshments, updates on accomplishments, the giving of awards for service, and the welcoming of NWEI’s new Executive Director David Macek.  We were able to bid farewell to the former Director Mike Mercer and formally give them the UNU-IAS Civic Engagement Awards for their EcoChallenge program.  There were many tables from partners and resources shared.

Description: 
We were hit by a huge rain storm, but still had over 30 people attend, with some great time for networking and recognition of our partners. We particularly enjoyed playing Sustainability Bingo.
