To develop a network of young talent that would pioneer transformative solutions to counter the impacts of climate change, the 4th edition of ‘Youth Climate Conclave’ (YCC) is being organised, along with the launch of a photography competition. The competition is open to children and youth aged 10-18 years and 19-25 years who wish to create a better future with innovative sustainable solutions. Winners will also get a chance to have their photo displayed at an exhibition and participate in the next conclave in February in Delhi!

This year, YCC is being held under the India-EU Clean Energy and Climate Partnership (CECP) project, financed by the Partnership Instrument of the European Union and managed by the Delegation of the European Union to India. PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited (PwC India) is the implementing partner for this project, together with NIRAS A/S, EUROCHAMBRES, and the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW). TERI has been implementing YCC since 2019. In 2022, with knowledge support from GIZ and UNICEF, the YCC is envisaged as a competitive and educative mode of action, wherein children and youth from across the country will come together to join hands and address climate change issues.
