Provide a short description of the project including strategies, regional challenges, aims and specific project activities.: 

Held on May 17, at Portland State University, participants at the May ISSP Portland chapter meeting were given the opportunity to gain unique international insights at this interactive working session conducted with our sister chapter in Indonesia, exploring the application of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. After a short presentation by GPSEN Director Kim Smith on the goals, we'll launch into an activity to explore their relevance to sustainability efforts in Oregon organizations and businesses and then share the results of our conversation live with the ISSP Chapter in Jakarta Indonesia who will be having a simultaneous meeting.  We not only learned more about the SDGs but had a chance to see how they are being viewed and used on the other side of the world.
