4. Cooperation and communication :
Stakeholder dialogues are designed to integrate all relevant parnters through a collective approach to exploring and designing solutions and ways forward. Inclusive communication strategies support cooperation within working parties, which exist often across several organisations, by maintaining an open and participatory process, rather than a unilateral strategy, where-by information filters down.

7. Participation of actors :
Partners participation in the development and coordination of projects and activities can be initiated at grass roots level. Responsibility for development of projects and coordination of associated activities undertaken by formation of a working party that reports on progress at agreed intervals to the management committee. Assistance and links are available through the coordinator of RCE WA and the coordinator maintains regular contact with various members of the working party through visits to project activities and via electronic means.

9. Educational activities :
Educational activities are at the core of being able to realise our vision, for all Western Australians to develop an understanding of and commitment to developing a sustainable future. All our educational activities focus on bringing about behaviour change through experiential learning and aim to deepen the connection to local environment through participation and action.

Gathering experiences and examples of Best Practice and sharing them at a local and global level - facilitated by opportunity to showcase individual projects on webpage, Global RCE Newsletter and other publications associated with various partners.

Through the AIM Outreach program RCE WA has provided hands-on science experiences for almost 1000 students over the last 12 months. This program has supported the activities of ASPIRE, a program which seeks to address the gap in educational opportunities of students from low socio-economic areas. These activities are linked to local issues realting to sustainability, such as Future farming; Biodiversity and Biotechnology.

At this infancy stage we have mainly focused on the compuslsory education sector, although through the network links are available to other sectors, including tertiary sector.

The compulsory education sector we believe provides a conduit to the wider community. By providing engaging and relevant hands-on experiences it is expected that the students will be ambassadors for change in their interactions with family and the wider community.
