MESSAGE FROM THE GLOBAL RCE SERVICE CENTRE:

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Greetings from the Global RCE Service Centre! As we reach the end of the year, we would like to thank you all for your continuous efforts and contributions in the area of ESD and the enthusiasm and dedication displayed. This has been apparent in the innovative projects we have seen within the network this year, which inspire us all in the RCE community for the following year ahead!

As we look towards 2022 and continuing these connections, we have recently announced an open call to host RCE events in 2022. Please see below for further details, as well as a reminder that registration is still open for the upcoming Europe Regional Meeting in February 2022.

If you would like to share any news, upcoming events, open calls, or publications for an upcoming bulletin, please complete this form and email your submission to the Global RCE Service Centre at rceservicecentre@unu.edu (submissions close on the 15th of each month).

From all at the Global RCE Service Centre, we would like to wish you a Happy Holidays!

Please note that the Global RCE Service Centre will be closed during the UNU's official vacation period (23 December, 2021 - 31 December, 2021). We will process your requests and emails when we return in the New Year.

Sincerely,
The Global RCE Service Centre

Save the Date: Post-Global Conference Webinar 'Networking Networks'
24 February, 2022, online, from 9:00 (CET)

RCE Oldenburger Munsterland is pleased to invite you for a post-Global Conference webinar which will be dedicated to 'Networking networks'.

Networking between central groups of actors is a success factor for the Global RCE Network. The challenge of the RCE initiative is that a large, global network meets different regional networks that should not only be strategically aligned, but also have to be brought into a dialogue across cultural, organisational and content-related differences.

This webinar serves to exchange knowledge and experience with network strategies that work. The webinar will be carried out by Detlev Lindau-Bank and Lukas Scherak (RCE Oldenburger Munsterland, Germany).

Register for the event here.

RCE Bordeaux Aquitaine Initiates the Creation of a University Degree on Adaptation to Climate Change

This multidisciplinary research program, placed under the scientific direction of two members of the IPCC, calls on teachers/researchers from the university world as well as their institutional and non-institutional partners. It is in this context that RCE Bordeaux Aquitaine proposed the creation of a 120-year university degree entitled 'Ecological engineering and adaptation to climate change' which will begin in April 2022 both in initial training and in continuing training.
