Sejahtera Fellowship 2017

RCE Tongyeong is launching its 3rd Fellowship Programme for researchers from Asia-Pacific RCEs. Every year, one researcher is invited to stay at the Tongyeong Sejahtera Center for a duration of 3-5 months to conduct research of his/her interest and to produce a research report.

Tentative Agendas for the 9th AP RCE Meeting and IPBES Capacity Development Workshop

The 9th Asia-Pacific RCE Meeting will be hosted by RCE Cha-am in Thailand on 30 June 2016 back to back with theInternational Conference on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Policy and Practice (ICCCB) held 27-29 June 2016. The Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) Capacity Building Workshop on Policy Support Tools will also be held in addition to these events from 1-2 July 2016, and RCE members are strongly encouraged to participate.

New Schedule for Online Course: Foundations of Sociocracy

What is Sociocracy

Life is self-organisation – therefore I am alive were I am free to co-design the structures which affects me. Sociocracy is using a decision making and an organizational structure to enable co-creation in organisations. RCE Munich started a sociocracy working group to spread this system of governance in the ESD-field. RCE Munich hopes to give a boost of trust, cooperation and transparency in every organisation.

A unique graduate learning experience is set to launch in Canada and internationally in February 2016. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Sustainability, Creativity and Innovation (SCI) at Cape Breton University (CBU) will offer a flexible online programme delivery designed for part time study that can be completed in 36 months.

The UN-ESCAP report on integrating the three dimensions of sustainable development introduces useful concepts and practical tools to assist policymakers in promoting integration of the three dimensions of sustainable development across the policy cycle.
