On January 11, 2024, Learning for Sustainability Scotland (LfSS), organised an evening reception to commemorate a decade since its inception. The reception took place at the illustrious Playfair Library, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, marking ten years of dedicated efforts in the realm of sustainability education. The event welcomed 80 esteemed guests from various educational backgrounds across Scotland.

UNEP, Second Nature and EAUC are working together to represent the higher education sector in this race and already have more than 700 signatories on board with the aim of reaching 1,000 by COP26 in November 2021.  

Reorienting Education Towards Sustainability for Higher Education Teachers

Organised by the School of Education, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU), Srinagar, Garhwal, a six-day training programme on 'Reorienting education towards sustainability for higher education teachers' was held from 5-10 December, 2019 in Srinagar, Uttarakhand, India. RCE Thiruvananthapuram Launches Campus Leaders For Sustainable Development Programme

RCE Thiruvananthapuram has launched a ‘Campus Leaders for Sustainable Development Programme’ in partnership with various government organisations, private entities, civil society organisations and individual mentors committed to the cause of sustainable development.

The programme aims to identify and mould young leaders from university and college campuses to lead the youth in various realms of sustainability and act as torch bearers for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
